USAID Inspector General Audits: Haiti
USAID Office of Inspector General audits of what USAID financed in Haiti.
Each audit or review examines one program or award: food aid, cash for work after the earthquake, HIV commodity procurement, education, investment promotion, the Economic Growth project, the Caracol electricity pilot and the winding up of terminated awards. It states whether the program was on track, whether commitments were met and what the mission was told to fix.
Findings describe the fieldwork period, which usually closes a year or more before publication. Read them beside the program's reporting and the US State Dept Human Rights Report: Haiti for the wider record.
