Authorized Pharmaceutical Establishments (DPM)

Each edition names every authorized establishment with its address and telephone numbers; earlier editions also name the responsible pharmacist. Entries fall into pharmacies, private hospital pharmacies, wholesale distribution depots, import and distribution agencies and pharmaceutical production laboratories, with pharmacies grouped by department and the Ouest split by commune.

Later editions are abbreviated LEPA, for Liste des Établissements Pharmaceutiques Agréés, and printed as a wall sheet. The register is the closest thing to a public census of the formal pharmaceutical sector. Read it with the Recognized Health Training Institutions (MSPP), the ministry's other public register.
