FEWS NET Haiti Seasonal Monitor

Each edition tracks the season in progress: cumulative rainfall compared with the long-term mean, vegetation condition from satellite NDVI, temperature anomalies, and what they imply for planting, crop development and harvest. The period is the month before the publication date.

Where the FEWS NET Haiti Food Security outlooks classify outcomes for households, this series follows the weather and vegetation inputs that feed them, usually several weeks earlier. The FEWS NET Haiti Monthly Climate and Weather report looks back at the month just finished.
