Annual Population Estimates (IHSI)

Each volume gives the total population, the population aged eighteen and over, the number of households and demographic densities, disaggregated by department and below. The estimate year is the year in the title, which can differ from the publication year.

Between censuses, these projection-based estimates are the operative population figures for Haiti: the denominator for service coverage, per-capita output and needs assessments. The population aged eighteen and over is broken out because it is the electorate.
