ISPAN Bulletin

The electronic bulletin of the Institut de Sauvegarde du Patrimoine National. Each issue leads on one monument, site or historic center and documents it: the fortifications of Marchand-Dessalines, fort Drouet in the Chaîne des Matheux, the artillery of the Citadelle Henry, the Môle Saint-Nicolas, the gingerbread quarters of Port-au-Prince, the historic centers of Jacmel and Jérémie.

Issues published after the earthquake apply the same method to the damage, with a building-by-building inventory of Jacmel's historic center and the center of Port-au-Prince photographed after the collapse. One issue sets out the legal framework for heritage protection from the Loi Vincent onward.
