BRH Prudential Norms and Guidance

Each instrument sets one rule: foreign exchange and reserve management, credit concentration limits, cross-ownership of bank capital, the transmission and verification of financial statements, internal control, the origin of funds, or lending to particular sectors. Each carries a number, which is how the BRH cites it.

Together they are the standing rulebook that the BRH Circulars amend.
