MARNDR Livestock and Fisheries Programs

The national development programs MARNDR issued for the animal-production and fisheries sub-sectors, all from one policy exercise in which the ministry convened livestock specialists, agronomists and veterinarians from the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine, specialized NGOs, private operators and producer organizations to draft policy across a set of themes.

Each volume takes one theme, such as aquaculture, maritime fisheries, milk or smallholder livestock in agro-ecological systems, and turns it into a costed program. The volumes share a format, a foreword and an origin, which is why they are held together.
