CRS Reports on Haiti

Reports the US Congressional Research Service (CRS) prepares on Haiti for members of Congress.

Each report sets out one question before Congress: the political and security situation, US assistance and its legal authorities, migration and interdiction policy, trade preferences under HOPE and HELP, and the options open to legislators.

The reports are written to brief, with citations, and they set out US policy history compactly. CRS publishes on events, so editions follow the news. Read them with the Chatham House Haiti Research for a non-US view.
