This user manual is designed to provide guidance for defining data compilation methods and procedures related to the container terminal activities at the Port of Cap-Haitien (PCH). It proposes to provide advice on the respective calculations of a set of recommended performance indicators (PI). The manual identifies the data requirements for each indicator, the source of this information, the forms to be used for the compilation of these elements, as well as the formulas for calculating the various indicators. This manual also addresses the procedures necessary for the staff of the National Port Authority of Haiti (APN) to fulfill its regulatory functions related to the control of the operational performance of the port. Attached to this manual is an Excel spreadsheet that complements the Practical Guide and Tool for Port Performance Monitoring within the framework of the PCH Regulation Strengthening Project.
