The library's statistics on Haiti are grouped here by theme. Each series page names the producing institution, the unit, the frequency and the latest period, and downloads as CSV and JSON. Where IHSI, the BRH or the MEF publish a figure, it comes before any international estimate.
The producers of official statistics
The Institut Haïtien de Statistique et d'Informatique (IHSI) publishes the consumer price index, population estimates, the national accounts and the quarterly economic activity indicator. The Banque de la République d'Haïti (BRH) publishes the exchange rate, money, reserves, the balance of payments and bank balance sheets. The Ministère de l'Économie et des Finances (MEF) publishes the government financial operations table, budget execution and the public payroll. The audit court (CSCCA) reports on budget execution. The MSPP covers health, the MENFP education and the MARNDR agriculture.
International series from the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, United Nations agencies, ILOSTAT, FAOSTAT and ACLED are kept for comparison. Their definitions and base years often differ from the national sources.

Population and demography
Population combines the World Bank total, the United Nations age and sex breakdown and IHSI estimates, which give households and density by department and commune. The population grid maps density between censuses.

Economy, prices and the exchange rate
GDP draws on IHSI national accounts and IMF and World Bank data, in gourdes and dollars, at current and constant prices, with future years marked as projections. IHSI publishes the consumer price index monthly in "Le coin de l'IPC". The exchange rate is the BRH monthly reference rate from October 1993. IHSI's quarterly activity indicator precedes the annual accounts.

Public finance and debt
The MEF's government financial operations table (TOFE) gives monthly revenue, expenditure and financing from fiscal year 2000-01. The budget execution table (TEB) sets appropriations, commitments and payments by ministry and spending category, and TEREDA breaks execution down by institution. The Direction Générale du Budget publishes public headcount and payroll monthly. Debt to GDP is the IMF World Economic Outlook series. The budget portal holds each budget law as voted and as amended.

Foreign trade and the balance of payments
The BRH publishes the balance of payments and exports and imports by product in the national classification. UN Comtrade reports the same trade in the Harmonized System, with partner countries. The IMF supplies current account projections, and its PortWatch project estimates monthly port activity from satellite ship positions.

Employment and poverty
Employment figures are ILO modeled estimates. The unemployment rate comes from four national surveys: the 1999 ECVH, the 2003 census, the 2007 labor force survey and the 2012 ECVMAS. Apparel-sector employment, published monthly by the Association des Industries d'Haïti, is the only monthly measure of formal jobs. Poverty rates are the World Bank's, national and by department, with the subnational rate from its GSAP platform also mapped.

Security and population displacement
The International Organization for Migration's Displacement Tracking Matrix counts internally displaced persons by site and commune. ACLED records violent events by location. The maps show both datasets.

Each indicator page gives the unit, frequency, first and last periods, source and license, with the full history as CSV and JSON. Provisional figures are marked, and a revision by the source replaces the earlier vintage. The open data page covers formats, the API and terms of reuse.

Health, education and food
Health data come from the MSPP weekly epidemiological surveillance report and the EMMUS surveys, and school data from the MENFP register of schools, by department. Acute food insecurity follows the IPC classification of the Cadre harmonisé. The Coordination nationale de la sécurité alimentaire (CNSA) records the monthly cost of the food basket.
