Key Findings
Full Description

One of six communal recovery plans prepared for the Grand'Anse after Hurricane Matthew, this one for Roseaux. The plan opens with a statement from the mairie and the list of local participants, which is a record of who took part in the planning, then sets out the commune's exposure to natural hazards and a regulatory zoning of its territory: red for land that may not be built on, orange for land buildable subject to mitigation works, green for land buildable under conditions. Recovery priorities follow, agreed with the commune. On the publisher's page the plan is accompanied by its own zoning regulation, a 1:10,000 zoning map, a hazard sheet and a presentation. Read with the Matthew PDNA sector volumes, which assess the same event nationally.
