Bulletin des lois et actes, 1929
- Covers 1929.
- Concessions dominate this volume more than any other in the series, with schools and customs behind them.
- The compilation is the Edition officielle of the Département de la Justice, printed by the state.
- Instruments appear in the order they were issued, so the volume is the primary text for any law of the year.
The Bulletin des lois et actes is the official compilation of Haitian legislation, printed by the state as the Edition officielle of the Departement de la Justice. Each volume gathers the laws, decrees, arretes and contracts of a year in the order they were issued.
The volume for 1929, and the one to read on concessions.
Concession instruments appear more often here than in any other volume of the series. 1929 is the year of the Marchaterre strike and the student and peasant unrest that led to the Forbes Commission and set the occupation's withdrawal in motion; it is also the year the concession regime reached its widest extent. Both facts are in this volume.
