The guide is a training workbook for Haiti's gender-responsive budgeting initiative. Module 1 explains gender concepts, activity-profile tools, access-and-control profiles, influencing factors and the use of gender analysis in national planning. It situates the work in Haiti's commitments under CEDEF, Beijing and the PSDH, including budget lines for gender equality and women's economic empowerment.
