This four-slide deck is institutional rather than programmatic, but it is useful because it states how the agriculture ministry saw its function in the post-Matthew coordination table. MARNDR's role is to orient public policies and public investment around defined priorities, coordinate sector damage assessment, and elaborate a response plan. It also positions the ministry as an enabling institution for private investment through legal and regulatory frameworks, incentives, infrastructure, technical assistance, research, training, finance, credit, insurance, entrepreneurship and market development.
