It heard a briefing under rule 39 by Edmond Mulet, then Assistant Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations and later head of the mission himself. Members, Mr. Mulet and the participating troop contributors held an exchange of views. What was said is not recorded anywhere, which is the point of the format and worth knowing before anyone goes looking for the substance.
