Recueil général des lois et actes du gouvernement d'Haïti, Tome IV (1824-1826)
- Covers 1824-1826 in 546 pages, in chronological order.
- Compiled by Linstant Pradine in the Collection Linstant Pradine, and from Tome VII published by decision of the Conseil des Secrétaires d'État.
- From Tome III the texts carry historical, jurisprudential and concordance notes, so each act is placed against what it amends and how it was construed.
- This volume carries the codification years: the Code civil, Code de procédure civile, Code de commerce, Code pénal, Code d'instruction criminelle and Code rural were all enacted in this span, alongside the indemnity settlement with France.
- It is a primary source for instruments that later Haitian codes and decrees cite without reproducing.
