Decree Amending the Law of 13 December 1982 Governing Non-Governmental Organisations

Haiti's NGO sector is large relative to the State, and the framework governing its registration and oversight rests on the 1982 law as amended here. Signed 14 September 1989 under the military government of Prosper Avril. Until now the corpus held this text only inside the MICT compendium, with no record of its own, and the corpus also holds the MPCE draft framework law on associations that was later proposed to replace this regime.
