CEP/DC/074-2526: International Day of Rural Women, "Pa gen demokrasi san fanm"

The event took place at the Auberge du Rayon Vert in Port-Salut, Sud department, under the theme "Pa gen demokrasi san fanm" (no democracy without women). Councillor Yves Marie Édouard argued that rural women's participation should not stop at community activities and should extend to political structures, public administration and national institutions, and that the right to vote must come with women's effective participation in decision making.
