The 19th Biannual Synthesis Report provides an industry and compliance review under the HOPE II Legislation in Haiti, covering the period from October 2018 to October 2019. Prepared by Better Work Haiti, a collaboration between the ILO and IFC, the report assesses Haitian apparel factories exporting to the US market under the HOPE II law. The report examines compliance with international core labor standards and national Haitian labor law, remediation efforts, and capacity building within the Haitian government. It highlights key findings related to child labor, discrimination, forced labor, freedom of association, collective bargaining, compensation, contracts, human resources, occupational safety, health, and working time.
