Humanitarian Assistance to Vulnerable Migrants Repatriated to Haiti

US$ millions unless stated. Haitian fiscal year, October to September. FY2026-27 began October 1, 2026.

Description

IOM supports the Haitian National Migration Office (ONM) in its reintegration assistance to Haitians who have been returned from elsewhere in the region. IOM is strengthening the ONM's operational capacities in immediate reception and assistance, providing migrants with mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) and protection assistance, and raising awareness about the risks of irregular migration to deter future departures. IOM's protocol to screen for and follow up on potential COVID-19 cases at the point of entry is also applied within this project.
