Published title: COVID-19: Humanitarian Assistance to Most Vulnerable Communities in Haiti

US$ millions unless stated. Haitian fiscal year, October to September. FY2026-27 began October 1, 2026.

Description

Through this project, IOM aims to support the most vulnerable communities living in areas highly affected by food insecurity to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Haiti. In order to do so, IOM is delivering immediate assistance to vulnerable populations at high risk through the provision of COVID-19 hygiene kits and while conducting community engagement and raising awareness to COVID-19 risks and how to best protect themselves. This project will also enhance the coordination mechanisms related to the COVID-19 response and will support the Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC) and the Ministry of Health and Population.
