Description
In order to develop projects having a sustainable impact on the long-term development in Haiti, LACRO will explore new opportunities related to our strategic goals in R2P, R2E and R2L. In 2014, a general context analysis and overall level thematic assessme nts were conducted, and several areas for new projects were identified. In 2015, two project evaluations and a feasibility study were conducted. This project will enable LACRO and Haiti programme to continue the process and develop the Haiti country progra mme.Objectives:The overall objective of the Haiti Programme Development is to strengthen the development of and practical preparation of substantial projects that have a potential for larger-scale impact in Haiti. LACRO will collaborate closely with FCA HQ in developing the

plans further in coherence with FCA’s global programme 2015-2017.Project will include evaluations and assessments, focus group discussions as well as concrete project concept development. Funds might also be used for start-up activitie s in one of the themes once eligible areas of work and partners have been established.Rights-holders /beneficiaries: Rights-holders benefit from the increased programme quality in the projects; To be identified in possible new pilot projects.Implementing p artner:This project is mainly implemented by FCA; a consultant may be used for outside evaluations. Also start-up activities or pilot projects might be implemented by old or new local organisations.
