The "Projet d’Appui au Renforcement du CRDDM (PARC)" project, implemented by the AGCRDDM and financed by USAID, aims to increase the capacity of AGCRDDM to deliver services to farmers and become financially independent. During the reporting period, the project focused on data collection for bean and maize seed production, assisting rice and plantain farmers, and reforestation efforts. The project supported 20 farmers in bean seed production, achieving a yield of 1.1 MT/ha. It also assisted 700 rice farmers and 300 plantain farmers, with rice yields more than doubling compared to baseline levels. Furthermore, the project distributed 9479 seedlings for planting in two sub-watersheds and supported agricultural input shops (BIAs) by providing fertilizer. However, land conflicts in the Montrouis area posed significant challenges to project implementation.
