Subsidies are among the harder lines to follow in Haiti's budget, because the money reaches public bodies and state enterprises through several routes and the aggregate says little about where it went. This table covers October 2023 to May 2024. The table runs a column per month across the fiscal year and a row per institution, grouped by sector, in millions of gourdes.
The Ministry publishes subsidy spending in more than one form. One statement runs cumulatively through the fiscal year from 1 October; another breaks the same spending down by institution and by sector, drawn on Treasury funds. Reading them together is what shows both the running total and its composition.
