Volume II of the operating budget (budget de fonctionnement) for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1980, printed in the Journal officiel No. 76-A of September 27, 1979. For each budget chapter it gives credits by section, then by article with monthly and annual amounts in gourdes, followed by salary breakdowns listing each post, its headcount and pay. Chapters include the Presidency, the Legislative Chamber, Finance and Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development (with district offices and the Artibonite Valley development agency), Public Works, Foreign Affairs, National Education, Social Affairs, Justice, Coordination and Information, Interior and National Defense, Public Health and Population, Mines and Energy Resources, Plan, and Youth and Sports. The final pages list civil pensions by beneficiary with monthly amounts. Much of the scanned text is hard to read, so many totals are illegible.
