Press Note 011/07-2026: Forged Notices on Petroleum Products
- The MEF says two notes on petroleum products circulating on social media are forged and do not come from its services.
- The forged notices are dated June 16, 2026 and July 7, 2026 and carry the UCAE name.
- Official communications go out only through www.mef.gouv.ht and the ministry's official social media accounts.
- The ministry reserves the right to take action compared with authors and distributors.
The one-page press note reproduces the two circulating notices with a FAKE stamp. One is a price structure for petroleum products headed with the Unité de Coordination et d'Analyse Économique (UCAE), dated July 7, 2026; the other is a technical sheet on petroleum prices for April 2 to June 15, 2026, dated June 16, 2026. The Ministry says neither comes from its services or administrative structures, asks citizens and the media to be vigilant, and to consult its official channels. It reserves the right to take legal action targeting the authors and distributors of the forged documents.
