- Staff data show a predominantly male workforce and a need to preserve technical capacity.
- IGF intends to reprogram unfinished missions for 2024-2025 and strengthen collaboration with other transparency and governance actors.
This activity report presents the work of Haiti's Inspection Générale des Finances for fiscal year 2023-2024. The IGF, attached to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, describes its legal and institutional framework, missions, vision, values, organizational structure, governance, staff profile, strategic objectives and annual mission program. The report states that the institution continued public-administration audits in a difficult environment marked by sociopolitical shocks, changes at the MEF and worsening insecurity. It reports that four programmed missions and two MEF-commanded missions were carried out, while several reports were still being finalized. It compares performance with fiscal year 2022-2023, notes a lower execution rate for programmed activities, and attributes constraints partly to security conditions and the departure of some technical staff from the country. The report also records administrative, training and collaboration activities, and it frames future work around reprogramming unfinished missions, strengthening partnerships and improving use of time and resources.
