Summary: Le Moniteur No. 23 of 3 February 2016, publishing the decree that ends the state monopoly on electricity (established in 1948) and regulates production, transmission, distribution and commercialisation of electric power, alongside the decrees creating the energy regulator ANARSE and the state utility Électricité d'Haïti (EDH). The founding legal instrument for Haiti's electricity sector as it is organized today, and now the only source in the corpus for EDH's own legal basis since edh.ht went offline.
