Full Description
A joint submission by the Kolektif Jistis Min and NYU's Global Justice Clinic on the human rights consequences of gold mining in Haiti. Mining is a small sector in Haiti but a live policy question: the government asked the World Bank in 2013 to help redraft a mining law considered obsolete, and this sets out the case against proceeding on those terms.
