The Haiti Food Security Sector's quarterly bulletin for July to September 2024. More than 5.4 million people faced acute food insecurity as armed gang violence persisted and escalated. Displacement data for round 8 in September 2024 recorded more than 700,000 internally displaced people, nearly 22 percent more than round 7, and mass deportations of Haitians added to needs. The sector is co-led by FAO and WFP with the government, and the bulletin is the record it keeps of the quarter: IPC classification, the cost of the food basket, displacement counts and the state of the response.
