The National Financial Education Plan (PNEF) for Haiti is a strategic tool for implementing the National Financial Inclusion Strategy (SNIF). It aims to improve access to financial products and services for the Haitian population. The PNEF focuses on creating a better-informed market, attracting more consumers to formal financial institutions, and fostering increased competition among them. It provides a framework for a coordinated approach to financial education, aiming for better utilization of existing financial resources and evaluation of the effectiveness of actions undertaken by the financial community. The plan identifies key target groups, including vulnerable populations, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), farmers, women, youth, and migrants, and outlines specific actions to improve their financial literacy and inclusion.
