Resilient Productive Landscapes II

US$ millions unless stated. Haitian fiscal year, October to September. FY2026-27 began October 1, 2026.

Description

The objectives of the Second Resilient Productive Landscapes Project are: (a) to improve agricultural productivity and resilience of selected smallholders and enhance management of associated natural resources in selected landscapes; and (b) in case of an eligible crisis or emergency, to respond promptly and effectively to it. The project has four components, the first being resilient productive landscape management capacity. The Project will support government efforts to adopt a resilient, productive landscape management approach at the national level. This component includes three subcomponents: sustainable landscape management capacity for agriculture investments, scale-up of resilient, productive landscapes, and institutional strengthening. The second component is Agriculture investments and nature-based solutions. This component will finance investments in on-farm CSA technologies and practices and NBS.

more

This component includes three subcomponents: supporting smallholders´ access to markets, supporting the climate-smart agriculture transition, and supporting landscape and watershed investments. The third component is the project coordination, management, monitoring, and evaluation. This component will finance staff costs, goods, equipment, and vehicles, incremental operating costs (including those of the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) to support its internal audit function in relation to the Project), external audits, construction and/or rehabilitation of PIU offices and eligible expenses associated with the overall management of project (including fiduciary matters, knowledge management, environmental and social risk management, communication, gender, and citizen engagement). Finally, the fourth component is the continency emergency response component. A component with zero allocation will allow the Government to respond quickly in case of an eligible emergency under a harmonized Response Mechanism across the Bank portfolio in Haiti.
