This report presents the final results of a hydrodynamic modeling study of the northern alluvial plain in Haiti. Conducted by BRGM with technical assistance, the study was commissioned as part of the USAID-funded AVANSE project, which aims to promote sustainable agricultural development in the Nord and Nord-Est regions of Haiti. The primary objective was to determine if sufficient groundwater resources are available to support the project's irrigation needs. The modeling was performed using the MARTHE code, and various scenarios were simulated to assess the impact of irrigation on the aquifer. The report details the model construction, calibration, and exploitation, highlighting key findings and uncertainties.
