This issue of the weekly report from the Direction d'Épidémiologie, de Laboratoire et de la Recherche (DELR) covers epidemiological week 46 of 2019, November 10 to 16, 2019. The network lists 677 sites. National completeness was 72% and promptness was 91%. By the department table, 442 sites reported before noon on Tuesday, 46 between noon and 4:00 p.m., and 189 had not reported by 4:00 p.m.
The notification table gives 316 immediately notifiable, 10,987 weekly notifiable and 22,179 other new cases for the week, 33,482 in all. Deaths recorded with the week's notifications came to 88: 1 in the immediately notifiable group, 12 in the weekly group and 75 among the other new cases. In the immediately notifiable list, the week counted 77 animal bites with suspected rabies, 5 suspected cholera cases, 228 confirmed malaria cases and 0 maternal deaths.
