This issue of the weekly report from the Direction d'Épidémiologie, de Laboratoire et de la Recherche (DELR) covers epidemiological week 45 of 2019, November 3 to 9, 2019. The network lists 677 sites. National completeness was 81% and promptness was 94%. By the department table, 510 sites reported before noon on Tuesday, 35 between noon and 4:00 p.m., and 132 had not reported by 4:00 p.m.
The notification table gives 355 immediately notifiable, 12,940 weekly notifiable and 25,499 other new cases for the week, 38,794 in all. Deaths recorded with the week's notifications came to 95: 4 in the immediately notifiable group, 22 in the weekly group and 69 among the other new cases. In the immediately notifiable list, the week counted 79 animal bites with suspected rabies, 4 suspected cholera cases, 258 confirmed malaria cases and 4 maternal deaths.
