The Direction de l'Enseignement Fondamental issued this program in November 2019 to restart the 2019 to 2020 school year after a crisis that, its foreword says, affected every department, district and school zone. Alongside an adjusted school calendar, it sets minimum competencies for each subject, built from the abilities judged essential and spread in weekly slices. The ministry states that it cannot replace the objectives of the official programs valid since March 1989. Five disciplines are covered. Each table gives month, week, theme, general objective, specific objectives, content elements and the page of the detailed program. Mathematics starts in December with numbers from 0 to 10,000,000, addition and kinds of lines. Experimental sciences start with the digestive organs and the parts of an insect, and French begins with listening to stories.
