Summary: FAO's 12-month, USD 30 million emergency response plan for 600,000 people (120,000 households) following Category 4 Hurricane Matthew, which struck southwestern Haiti on 3-4 October 2016 with winds of 90-120 km/h and caused extensive damage in Grand'Anse, Sud, Sud-Est and Nippes. It is executed with the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development (MARNDR) and the Ministry of Environment as national counterparts.
