Key Findings
Full Description

Prepared by Marie Ardys Marcellus Jean Baptiste for the Institut de Consultation d'Évaluation et de Formation pour le Développement Agricole under MARNDR's DEFI program and dated May 2014, this study asks whether the integrated control methodology against the coffee berry borer is socio-economically adaptable to conditions at Baptiste - that is, whether producers can actually sustain the practice, including the borer traps the report illustrates. It is the last of the three DEFI documents on the Baptiste borer campaign, and the one that turns from technical effect to whether the method holds once project support ends.
