CEP Resolution endorsing the inquiry report on the 2nd section Source Beauvoir, Chansolme

A resolution of the CEP, adopted in extraordinary session on 4 August 2017, endorsing the report of the administrative enquiry into the 2nd communal section Source Beauvoir, commune of Chansolme. The enquiry had been created by a Council resolution of 11 May 2017 following a letter of 28 April 2017 from the citizen Michel-Ange Darisie, and reported on 10 July 2017. Its findings were that the contingency count record KZ 124247 had been used in proper form to replace the authentic record KZ 111169 for the voting bureau concerned, which had been spoiled following a calculation error during the bureau's opening procedure, and that the poll for the CASEC post in that section showed no fraud or attempted fraud in the use of the contingency record.

Taking the commission's recommendations into account, the Council resolved to order the Vote Tabulation Centre to give full effect to the decision of the communal electoral disputes bureau of Chansolme on the challenge brought by Darisie, coordinator of the OPL party cartel for the section, against the preliminary results awarding victory to the LAPEH party cartel coordinated by Jean Renald Pierre. The resolution is to be printed, published and executed by the CEP's Executive Director.
