List of communal sections affected by the resolution of 8 February 2017
- Lists, department by department and commune by commune, the communal sections whose ASEC and CASEC ballots the CEP resolution set aside.
- Gives departmental subtotals, including 19 sections in Artibonite, 13 in Centre, 12 in Grand'Anse and 11 in Nippes.
- Is the operative annex to the resolution: it determines which local results were affected.
- Was produced by the CEP's Executive Directorate.
- Doubles as a record of how widely urban boundaries and communal sections overlapped at the 2017 local elections.
The companion list to the CEP's resolution on the tabulation of the ASEC and CASEC elections of 29 January 2017, produced by the Council's Executive Directorate. It enumerates, department by department and commune by commune, the communal sections whose ASEC and CASEC ballots the resolution set aside because they were cast at voting centers in communal sections extending into urban areas. Each entry names the department, the commune and the numbered communal section, with departmental subtotals: nineteen sections in Artibonite, thirteen in Centre, twelve in Grand'Anse, eleven in Nippes, and so on across the country. Read alone the list is administrative; read with the resolution it is the operative annex, since it is what determines which local results were affected. It is also a usable record of how widely the urban and communal-section boundaries overlapped in practice at the 2017 local elections.
