Notice: registration of groupings and regroupings of approved political parties

A CEP notice announcing that it will register groupings of political parties from Monday 13 to Friday 17 July 2026, and regroupings of political parties from Wednesday 22 to Monday 27 July 2026, under article 128 of the electoral decree of 2 June 2026. The delegated and duly authorized person for each grouping or regrouping is to attend the CEP central bureau between 9am and 5pm with five documents: the original notarised constitutive act of the grouping or regrouping of approved parties, together with its statutes and objectives; the original notarised document recording the agreement on the use of a single emblem; the initials, emblem and colors adopted for its identification; the original notarised record designating a legal representative; and a color copy of the representative's valid NINU card. The notice states that no incomplete file will be accepted. Both windows were subsequently changed: groupings were extended to 31 July 2026 at the request of several political organizations, and regroupings postponed to 10-14 August 2026.
