A single-page statistical table published by the Banque de la République d'Haïti's banking supervision as part of its CAMEL reporting on development finance companies (sociétés financières de développement, SFD). It sets out, in gourdes, the summary balance sheet and income statement of the Fonds de Développement Industriel (FDI) and the Société Financière Haïtienne de Développement (SOFIHDES), and of the two together as the system, for fiscal years 2023 and 2024 side by side.
On the balance sheet, system assets declined from HTG 14.75 billion in 2023 to HTG 14.02 billion in 2024, driven by SOFIHDES (HTG 4.58 billion to HTG 3.72 billion) while the FDI grew slightly (HTG 10.17 billion to HTG 10.30 billion). Gross loans fell from HTG 8.02 billion to HTG 7.59 billion and non-performing loans from HTG 4.84 billion to HTG 4.76 billion, of which HTG 4.32 billion sat with the FDI against HTG 0.44 billion at SOFIHDES; provisions of HTG 2.64 billion left net loans of HTG 4.95 billion. Liquidity and short-term placements were HTG 1.45 billion, medium- and long-term placements HTG 2.46 billion, and non-operating real estate HTG 0.83 billion. Total liabilities were HTG 11.26 billion and shareholders' equity HTG 2.76 billion.
On results, the system's net result fell from HTG 60.2 million to HTG 42.8 million: the FDI moved from a profit of HTG 13.7 million to a loss of HTG 18.2 million while SOFIHDES improved from HTG 46.5 million to HTG 61.0 million. Interest income for the system fell from HTG 603.9 million to HTG 523.3 million, with the FDI recording no interest expense and SOFIHDES HTG 82.9 million.
