L’iniziativa, a valere sulla programmazione 2024, contribuirà alla realizzazione della risposta umanitaria del WPHF ad Haiti per l’anno 2024. Il Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) è una partnership globale per la partecipazione, la leadership e l'empowerment delle donne nella risposta umanitaria e nei contesti di pace e sicurezza. Guidato da una serie di attori della società civile, del governo e delle Nazioni Unite, il WPHF è un fondo fiduciario multi-partner che mobilita i finanziamenti urgentemente necessari per le organizzazioni locali guidate da donne e che lavorano al loro fianco in prima linea per costruire una pace duratura. Ad Haiti, il WPHF sostiene gli interventi delle organizzazioni locali per i diritti delle donne o a leadership femminile nei seguenti ambiti:

risposta umanitaria, protezione contro la violenza sessuale e di genere (SGBV), costruzione della pace e ripresa.
