Description
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen institutional and human resources in Haiti, both female and male, from government, civil society and communities, for the effective safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage. It will include: training activities on theoretical and practical aspects of community-based inventorying, applying a gender-responsive approach; conducting pilot inventorying activities; developing local youth-based film on the definition, importance of intangible cultural heritage and the role of young people in the inventorying and safeguarding of their living heritage; and training on preparing requests for International Assistance to the Intangible Cultural Heritage Fund.
