To develop such program, it is necessary to engage closely with local communities and develop strategies for promoting social cohesion and resilience, building on Haitian existing assets: agrifood tradition, culture, artisanal heritage, social capital, digitally savvy and entrepreneurial youth, volunteerism, and community values. The preservation and promotion of such assets will be the basis for successful home-grown stabilization.
