Save 250,000 Children from Pneumonia
US$ millions unless stated. Haitian fiscal year, October to September. FY2026-27 began October 1, 2026.
Description
Antibiotics can be a lifesaver for children in the developing world. They fight off pneumonia and other infections common among children in poorer areas of the world. Medicines we might take for granted, as they are available at every corner pharmacy, are beyond reach for many of the worlds children. Pneumonia is one of the leading causes of child deaths in the developing world, taking 2,500 lives a day. Antibiotics can change this staggering statistic.
