Description
Hunger is a global issue that we can solve. There is enough food for every person (more than 2100 kilocalories/day) in this world to lead a healthy life, yet there are 1 in 8 people who go to bed hungry - most of them being women and children. The World Food Programme is the largest humanitarian agency seeking to end hunger worldwide, assisting more than 97 million people across 80 countries with 3.5 million tons of food in 2012!
