Description
This project will transform BRAC's existing limb and brace center in Haiti into a locally run, self-sustaining social enterprise. The model is based on a similar center in Bangladesh, where cost recovery is now 110%. Thanks to BRAC's partnerships with other donors, contributions to this project have extraordinary leverage: Funding of $19,786 raised through Global Giving will be matched and multiplied by others, unlocking $86,026 to reach 285 patients and contribute to sustainability.
