Haiti Acute Crisis Joint Response (Haiti ACJR)
US$ millions unless stated. Haitian fiscal year, October to September. FY2026-27 began October 1, 2026.
Description
Based on cluster recommendations and assessments, IRC together with FOSREF and FVCB proposes the following intervention in Ouest: Health: IRC will support 7 static health facilities and 3 mobile clinics to provide free healthcare services to the most vulnerable populations in PaP areas controlled by gangs and prone to violence and displacement. The mobile clinics are deployed weekly to IDP locations. WASH: Cholera prevention will be a core activity. When a case is detected, WASH teams will reinforce the distribution of water purification, soap, chlorine, and buckets in at-risk areas. Water points and oral rehydration access points will be made available. If cholera cases require transfer to treatment centers, IRC provides cash for transportation incl. a fee for vehicle disinfection

after use. IRC/FOSREF/FVCB community workers will reach out for hygiene and cholera prevention sessions. Target communities in high risk areas and IDPs receive hygiene kits. WASH and cholera preparedness & response are based on Sphere and WHO guidelines. Protection/GBV: Prevention includes awareness-raising for men and women on GBV services. GBV survivors receive survivor-centered case management to access counselling, information and clinical referrals. Women and girls will receive individual and group psychosocial support. Trained community liaisons provide awareness raising and psychosocial first aid incl. referrals.
