Supporting Haitian Health Facilities to Combat Cholera

US$ millions unless stated. Haitian fiscal year, October to September. FY2026-27 began October 1, 2026.

Description

CRS is building upon its current cholera programming with a six month project, “Supporting Haitian Health Facilities to Combat Cholera.” The project fills a critical gap in CRS’s cholera programming and in Haiti’s overall national response strategy to cholera by providing the necessary infrastructure at existing health facilities’ CTUs/CTCs so they may better control the spread of cholera and provide care to patients. The project also will support the capacity of health facilities in hygiene promotion in the communities they serve by providing training and materials to CTU/CTC staff and CHWs so that partner health facilities will be able to continue to prevent cholera at the community level as well.
